Solar Powered Products

A solar powered product harvest energy using solar photovoltaic cells to power consumers and loads that are not connected to the electrical grid, such as lighting LEDs, and uses a battery and power converter to store and manage the energy flow from the solar cells to the load.

Tailored component models

We develop accurate electrical models for your product’s main components (solar cells, battery, converter, load), based on laboratory characterization and tests.

Energy and financial performance models

We develop energy and financial performance models of your solar product to be used for long term performance simulation under real operating conditions.

Accurate solar access assessment

​We perform accurate shading and solar access assessment for aiding the deployment and long-term operation assessment of your Solar Powered Product, in heavily shaded environments, using sky imaging, LiDAR and Digital Surface Models
